And so, here we are at the final gallery of the most amazing collaboration yet.
Our final set for this shoot was the full sized bath tub. Having previously attempted this with wonderful Thamie for the White Henna-style Body Art in the bathroom itself, we wanted to go much bigger with our second attempt – so we took the full sized bath tub OUTDOORS.
As you can imagine, this was a lot of logistical fun. From sourcing the bathtub, to finding a suitable location for the bathtub, ensuring it was safely placed and then finally filling the bathtub! Louise and Georgie mostly took care of the physics of this part. There was a hosepipe, several kettles full of boiled water. And eventually also milk and flower petals. Then came the fun part of getting IN to the bathtub. Though blessed with very beautiful sunshine that day, and a generally comfortable water temperature, the inch of air/water at the surface was the most difficult temperature adjustment of the entire process. But what FUN!
The angle of most of these photos was achieved by shooting from a very elevated position, with Louise being on the 1st floor of her building and leaning out. The result was just amazing and so much more than we had hoped for.
