Is henna safe for use on children?

We at Created By Connie use only 100% natural henna paste. Allergic reactions are rare, but can exist particularly in people with naphthoquinone sensitivity or GP6D deficiency. For this reason, we do not offer henna services for children under the age of 6 (subject to signed parental consent) as this condition can remain undiagnosed in children of such a young age. If you have any concerns, please email before making your booking.

MOST FUN EVER!!! Featuring my new #JAGUA (#TrialTattoo) body art. Hand mixed by me, containing powdered jagua fruit from Panama @jaguaink , essential oils, sugar and water. Lasts 2 weeks (though it feels longer) and looks almost like a real tattoo (can you spot which of Tegans pieces are her actual tattoos vs my jagua art??) Ive learned recently that I exist for the sole purpose of collaborating with a sisterhood of creatives. We raise each other up, by dedication to just being ourselves ♡Flip Flops & Pearls: May 2011FESTIVAL BASE CAMP DIY – Spell & the Gypsy Collective
