For clearance purposes I am selling my remaining 100g packs of body art quality Henna powder. Harvested in the last half of Summer 2016 from Rajasthan based henna farms, this powder has been vacuum packed and then vacuum foil packed. This means that the powder particles are very tightly packed together. Although this powder is triple sifted, you will need to both sift your powder AND strain your resulting henna paste through an [open toe] stocking to eliminate congealed powder lumps from mixing.
This body art quality (BAQ) henna powder has a mesmerisingly beautiful bright green colour. The sort that makes you question if it has been artificially dyed (it hasn’t). The dye release, as with most Rajasthan processed henna powder, is fairly quick (i.e. 24 hours or under depending on your preferred recipe and method) and once coned up the resulting paste is more stringy than creamy. Great for draping lines. Oh, and the paste can retain some of that lovely green tinge that you saw in the powder form – which looks extra awesome if you use clear cellophane cones.
As this powder is now passed its ‘Best Before’ date which is one year since processed, this Henna Powder is considered expired and no longer saleable as professional body art quality. This powder is being sold for use on HAIR or for PERSONAL USE / PRACTICE PURPOSES only. These packs of henna have been safely stored in optimal conditions (a cool, dark box) in my studio and were previously exclusively sold to my henna students. I only have a limited quantity left so grab a bargain while you still can!
