Exciting update!
**Now UPDATED with client review**
The first henna workshop created by Connie has been launched and delivered to a truly wonderful group of creatively inclined hens this weekend – and what JOY it was to work with them. AND it involved a trip over the moors at sunset. What more could a working artist ask for, really?!
We enjoyed a 2-hour beginner level workshop with a practical knowledge quiz, guided instruction in specific techniques, and finally some paired hands-on application of henna with a special henna design for the hen. It was a fab evening, bringing everyone closer together over the bond of henna and I left feeling truly inspired by them all.
With many thanks to Laura for finding me and requesting the new service. And huge congratulations to Emily for a beautiful wedding day in the coming weeks <3

Review received from Laura (17/04/2017):
When people think of a hendoo, they perhaps don’t naturally consider a henna class! However, it was the perfect chance to sit together with some wonderful women, share some prosecco and build some bonds as you hold each other’s hand in your own and create them something beautiful. Connie made us feel comfortable and confident, staging the designs by introducing one skill at a time: dots, swirls, teardrops, etc. Until, eventually we realised we could use the lovely fresh henna tubes to draw something quite impressive for beginners.
Connie then did a professional design for the bride which was dreamy. Emily, over the next few days, debated the practicalities of getting to the Leeds area before her wedding as she was so desperate to recreate the gorgeous hand design for her special day. I can totally understand why, it was perfectly elegant and intricate. I found myself longing to be able to recreate my own wedding with some of Connie’s flourishes!
